Just in time for Eid, Human Appeal distributed Zakat ul Fitr food parcels to 1,000 vulnerable families across Khartoum and Gedarif — 800 families in Gedarif and 200 in Omdurman, Khartoum. Each parcel contained essential items including sugar, flour, lentils, chickpeas, and oil, ensuring families could celebrate Eid without the worry of an empty table. In a country enduring ongoing conflict and displacement, this support brought relief and joy at the most important time of year.
