This Ramadan, Human Appeal hosted seven Grand Iftars in Al Obeid, Sudan, serving over 180,000 hot meals to internally displaced families living in two major IDP camps. With more than 25,000 people reached at each gathering, every iftar prioritised the most vulnerable — women, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities — all displaced by Sudan's ongoing conflict. In the midst of immense hardship, these moments brought communities together to break their fast with dignity and nourishment.
