This Ramadan, Human Appeal hosted a Grand Iftar for Syrian refugees at Akre Camp in Duhok, reaching 212 refugee households — around 1,109 individuals. With a total of 4,436 iftar meals distributed throughout the project, families including female-headed households, the elderly, and people with disabilities were provided with warm, nourishing meals of rice, chicken, soup, and more. For refugees far from home during the holiest month of the year, this was a moment of comfort and dignity.
