Through our Fidya & Kaffarah program, Human Appeal delivered hot meals to Syrian refugees and internally displaced families at Akre Camp in Duhok across two phases. The first phase reached 212 refugee households — around 1,111 individuals — over three days. The second phase expanded to nearly 8,000 individuals daily, reaching both Syrian refugee and displaced households over six days. Prioritising female-headed households, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
